Teleport FX for Google Meet is a Chrome extension that adds a gesture-triggered "teleport" visual effect to your own camera video in Google Meet.

What the extension processes

To apply the effect, the extension processes your camera video and microphone audio only on your own device, inside Google Chrome, while you are in a Google Meet call and the effect is turned on.

What the extension does not do

• It does not collect, record, store or transmit any video, audio, image or personal data.
• It does not send any data to the developer or to third parties.
• It does not use analytics, tracking or advertising.
• It does not sell or share any data.

Data stored on your device

The only data saved is two settings (effect on/off, share sound on/off). They are stored locally in your browser with Chrome's storage and never leave your device. You can remove them at any time by uninstalling the extension.

Detection models

The hand, face and person detection models (Google MediaPipe, Apache License 2.0) are included in the extension and run locally. No remote code is used.
